On Wednesday, February 24, the Worthy Grand Knight Rich Shea present Life Choices with a check for $10,000!  Liz Dubenetzky at Life Choices was so appreciative and said over and over that if it weren’t for our support (including the $10,000 given by our Brothers on their own) they would not be able to sustain their Ministry so the work we do with God’s Grace once again generates amazing outcomes (see picture below)!

In attendance were council members John Heinen, Matt Reagan and Mark Fallon.  From Life Choices Liz Dubenetzky, Anne Skalsky and Debbie Thomas were present.

After the presentation of the check, Liz spoke about both how important our councils support is and what Life Choices does in support of Life.  Below is the synopsis from an email provided to us:

“Thank you very much for your generous matching gift to Life Choices Pregnancy Resource Center.  Life Choices serves women in Poway and the surrounding areas who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy.   We offer free services, such as pregnancy testing, counseling, parenting education, material goods and more.  It is our mission to make it possible for every mom who walks through our doors to say “YES!” to motherhood.  Thanks to generous donors within your membership and the matching donation from the Knights at Saint Gabriel’s Parish we can continue to offer these services at no cost to our clients.  God bless each of you!
