Name: Ron Emanual

We are proud to recognize Ron Emanuel as our April Knight of the Month — a man of quiet strength, enduring commitment, and humble service.

Ron’s journey with the Knights of Columbus began thanks to the determined encouragement of fellow Knight Jim Tom, who simply wouldn’t take no for an answer. Since then, Ron has remained a dedicated member, drawn in by the camaraderie of “the fellas” and the meaningful work they accomplish together.

A long-time pillar of our parish, Ron has been a member of St. Gabriel’s for nearly 30 years. His contributions span across ministries, including Eucharistic Ministry, ushering, and support for our Lenten dinners. In total, he generously donates about 20 hours a year in service — all while maintaining a cheerful spirit and a deep sense of purpose.

Outside of the Knights, Ron enjoys reading and relaxing — hobbies that have taken a backseat since the grandkids moved in! One little-known fact about Ron? He can still ride a bike — and he proudly reminds us of it!

Later this year, Ron will be traveling to Greece, adding another adventure to his life of quiet faith and dedication.

When asked what he’d like to do more of, his answer was simple and honest: “Relax.”
