Major Jobs: I began in the electrical industry with my dad as did he with his dad. After working for several electrical contractors, I went into business with a partner in 1991 (Westrend Electric). Later I went out on my own in 2000 and started Value Electric and Communications, Inc. I retired in 2018.

How long have you been a Knight and what made you join? I have been a Knight 8 years. I just walked up to the table in the courtyard. It was easy.
What is one thing that your friends probably don’t know about you? I enjoy racing cars. At 4 years old, my dad bought me a Quarter Midget Race car. At 5 I had an appearance on the Mickey Mouse Club as the youngest midget race car driver. For my 60th birthday, I drove a NASCAR racecar around the track in Fontana hitting speeds of up to 180 mph. During the 6-lap run I averaged 150 mph which would qualify me for NASCAR racing.
Favorite Hobby: I am restoring my high school car a 1968 Z28 Camaro. In addition, I enjoy bike riding and ride around 70 miles a week. During the winter season we visit the mountains for snow skiing.
If you got to start over again after graduating school, what would you change? Nothing
Did/Do you travel much? Yes, I went on a trip to Kauai in May, Olympic National Park in August and Cabo San Lucas in September. January through March you will find us on the ski slopes.
Name two other things people might not know about you: I am an Eagle Scout and play the piano by ear.
