Born and raised: I was born in Veracruz, Mexico, and lived there until I was 15 years old.

Married: I have been married to Rosa Maria Marin for 9 years.  We have been together for 15 years.

Children: We have no children together.

Occupation: I am Construction Superintendent for a construction company.

Major Jobs: My major projects  are:

Help to build an 18 thousand square foot Custom Home in Rancho Santa Fe. One of my biggest .

Oversight for a waterproofing project for 17 buildings during a couple of years.

Oversight for an apartment complex for a year and a half.  82 units from the ground up.

Currently working on a siding project for Irvine Company in the City of Irvine.  Nineteen buildings total.

Why you decided to join the Knights?I decided to join the Knights of Columbus because I believe that I can help my brothers in Christ with the help of fellow brothers Knights.

I was invited by Deacon Mike Fish and I never accepted the invitation or filled out the form until years later when brother Jesus Cruz invited me and handed me the form.  I filled out the form and months later I became a member.

What has kept you in the Knights? What keeps me as a member of the Knights is the desire to help others, help our community, and together help people beyond our means.

What is the one thing that your friends probably don’t know about you? One thing that most of the brothers knights do not know is that I was in the Seminary during my high school years.  I wanted to be a priest at one point in my life.

Favorite Hobby: My favorite thing to do is watch movies at home.

How long have you been a Parishioner of St. Gabriel’s? I have been Saint Gabriel’s parishioner since 2015.
